My research focus on developing computational methods for biomarker discovery and cell type classification with single cell genomics data for advancing our understanding of cellular phenotypes in health and disease.
My work is an integral part of the Cell Knolwedge Network project, where data scientists, software engineers, and biomedical ontologists work together to accurately represent the cutting-edge single cell genomics data and biological entities, and to disseminate reliable information/knowledge about cells - the foundamental unit of life - using knowledge graphs and sementic web technologies, linking data across databases and knowledgebases.
